Austral Idiomas is devoted to providing high quality and personalized instruction in Spanish for foreigners. All of our teachers are native speakers, university graduates and trained in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language.

We work with our own teaching methods, aimed at students’ total cultural immersion, knowing that lexical and stylistic variations in the Spanish language are primarily consequences of the cultural influences from the places where it is spoken. Dealing with Buenos Aires, a diverse and unique city, the combination of methodology and cultural reality allows us to offer a unique and captivating experience in the Spanish language in Latin America.

Language lessons at Austral Idiomas focus on communication; beyond grammar books and written exercises, our professors include a variety of oral and listening elements with up-to-date technology to stimulate a comprehensive understanding of the Spanish language. Students are encouraged to interact with their classmates, their professors and the entire staff here at Austral Idiomas. Our professors also dedicate their creativity and time to the organization of various activities during the students' free time and weekends. Host families also contribute greatly to the students' well being during their stay (see the accommodation section).

We work hard to create an intimate atmosphere both during and after class time that welcomes, inspires, challenges and responds to each individual student. Consequently, and judging by what our students tell us and the exam results they achieve, “studying with us a truly satisfying experience”
